Academic Biography
My academic journey started in Greece, where I studied for and received a BSc in Industrial Informatics from the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala. I then completed an MSc in Web Computing (awarded with distinction) at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Following my graduation, I was awarded a scholarship by LJMU in order to pursue a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, which I successfully completed in 2014.
My main research interests include the fields of digital interactive storytelling (DIS), artificial intelligence (AI), and multi-agent systems (MAS). I have previously performed research on cryptography and intelligent recommendation systems.
Education
PhD in Artificial Intelligence, 2014
Liverpool John Moores University
DIEGESIS: A multi-agent Digital Interactive Storytelling framework using planning and re-planning techniques
MSc in Web Computing, 2009
Liverpool John Moores University
My MSc Dissertation, consisted of the design and implementation of a social networking system for researchers that included a full set of content-based and collaborative-based recommendations for its users. The design of the system was based on an extended research on the subject of intelligent recommendation systems and the algorithms associated with them.
BSc in Industrial Informatics, 2007
Technological Educational Institute of Kavala
My BSc Dissertation was a comprehensive research on the subject of cryptography and the related algorithms, and then the design and implementation of a secure e-voting system for the needs of university students' elections.
